FEBS bursaries, TBS bursaries and the FEBS Sprinzl scheme

For early-career researchers: Congress bursaries from FEBS and from TBS
There are two bursary schemes offered to support participation in the 2025 FEBS Congress of eligible early-career scientists from the FEBS area who are submitting an abstract to the event as first author.
The application deadline is 13 March 2025.

- FEBS Bursaries: these are for early-career scientists (PhD students, and postdocs within 5 years of receiving a PhD) from FEBS countries other than Türkiye; for more information, click here.
- TBS Bursaries: these are for young scientists in Türkiye who are members of the Turkish Biochemical Society (TBS); for more information, click here.
For PhD holders from certain disadvantaged FEBS countries: the FEBS Congress Mathias Sprinzl Scheme
This is a 50% reduced early-bird registration fee for scientists resident/working in Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Morocco, Moldova, Tunisia and Ukraine who are submitting an abstract to the Congress as first author and are not eligible for FEBS Congress bursaries.
The application deadline is 30 January 2025.
