YSF Venue and Travel

Venue

Sapanca, located in Turkey about 1.5 hours driving distance from Istanbul, is renowned for its natural beauty and tranquil environment. Sapanca is well known for its natural freshwater lake, perfect for outdoor activities, and a charming village known for its waterfalls and forests. This location offers numerous wellness resorts and a wide selection of Turkish cuisine including fresh seafood and traditional dishes. YSF 2025 will be held at the Elite World Grand Sapanca, a 5-star resort, in the heart of this beautiful site. The convention and wellness centers of the venue offer many facilities and activities to foster scientific exchange in sync with nature. In addition to making professional connections, participants will have opportunities to socialize, relax, and enjoy the natural landscapes.

Accommodation

YSF participants will stay at the Elite World Grand Hotel in Sapanca during the YSF, from 2nd to 4th July (2 nights). On the evening of July 4th, participants will move to accommodation in Istanbul, near the Congress venue, where they will stay from 4th to 9th July (5 nights).

Accommodation will be in shared rooms. YSF participants do not need to book a room or pay accommodation fees. The YSF Organizing Committee will take care of this, in collaboration with the Congress Organizers and FEBS. Participants who would like extra night(s) need to arrange the accommodation by themselves.

Travel

We anticipate that most participants will be flying to Istanbul. Although there are several travel opportunities to Sapanca, dedicated buses will be organized to facilitate travel between Istanbul and Sapanca. More details will be shared in due course.
