Symposia Topics, Chairs, and Speakers

The symposia of the 49th FEBS Congress will show groundbreaking research in basic and applied molecular and cellular life sciences and are arranged into the broader themes set out below for easy browsing; click on each bar to reveal the individual Symposia and their invited speakers, including speaker biographies.  As is the tradition at FEBS Congresses, each Symposium is normally chaired by one expert in the field from outside the host country and one from the host country.

Nearer the time of the event, 'short talk' and 'speed talk' speakers will be selected on the basis of submitted abstracts to join the invited speakers in each Symposium.
